Now Shipping: Takehisa Kosugi's Catch-Wave and The Fall's Rough Trade Singles October 25 2018
Shipping this week, we have the first solo album by seminal Japanese composer and The Taj Mahal Travellers founder Takehisa Kosugi (R.I.P.). Originally released in 1975, Catch-Wave features improvised violin drones and voice with various oscillators, echo delays and layered tape experiments.
Also, literally just coming in the door, The Rough Trade Singles collects The Fall's four singles recorded for this influential label in 1980 and 1983 including "How I Wrote 'Elastic Man'" and "Totally Wired." This first-time compilation contains some of the absolute best material Mark E. Smith and crew would ever release.
