Now Shipping: Alvin Curran and Phill Niblock September 24 2018

Shipping this week, we have the 1975 solo debut album from Alvin Curran, co-founder of Musica Elettronica Viva. Canti E Vedute Del Giardino Magnetico stands as a crucial bridge between American and European avant-garde traditions – interweaving eerie field recordings with voice, brass and sublime keyboards.

Also shipping is Phill Niblock's second LP, Niblock For Celli / Celli Plays Niblock. Originally released in 1984 on India Navigation, the album features reed player Joseph Celli (who has collaborated with John Cage, Pauline Oliveros and Ornette Coleman). Enchanting drones that the composer says should be played loud.

Both first-time vinyl reissues hit stores this Friday.
